HBO's Premiere of Grey Gardens

HBO premiere of Grey Gardens, 18 April 2009, told the story of one family member "first Latina extended. Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore portrayed "Big Edie" and "Little Edie"-aunt and cousin of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. Jacqueline Onassis played by Jean Tripplehorn. HBO did an outstanding job of recounting the story of a wonderful mother and daughter lived in isolation for years despite their heritage.

The original documentary, Grey Gardens, built in 1975 by a talented team of Albert and David Maysles, Susan Froemke, Ellen Hovde, Muffie Meyer and (address / dinematoraphy / editing). In both the documentary and HBO film, everyday life of two women who lived in Grey Gardens has demonstrated it has been a decline. Gray Gardens is located in Laguna Georgica neighborhood of East Hampton, New York. The house was designed by Joseph Greenleaf Thorpe in 1897. Light Grey Gardens is named for the color areas with colors sand dunes, sea mist and concrete walls in the park. Phelan Beale and Edith bought Gray Gardens in 1923. Some uncle and aunt of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis.

Beale family members lived at Grey Gardens for over 50 years. "Big Edie" Ewing Bouvier Beale, Edith and "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale, Edith lived there together (almost completely cut off) for almost forty years. After Phelan Beale divorced Edith, and later died, the house began to suffer from a lack of confidence of Edith Bouvier funds began to dry. He refused to leave or sell their home and he and "Little Edie" lived there, with no utilities, but many cats (and other species) that come and go at will.
