Selena Gomez is a hit Disney teen queen of the romance charts and high-profile single with Justin Bieber. But now 19 years old singer and actress said she lived in what was described in court as "intense fear" after receiving death threats from a man of 46 years.
That man, Thomas Brodnicki, now 100 yards should be kept out of Gomez and his place of work after the singer received a restraining order against him on Thursday by a judge in Burbank, California.
The court filing said the state police were informed by mental health workers are in danger Brodnicki damage or kill the actor, while awaiting psychiatric.
According to legal documents, Brodnicki, with a history of mental illness and criminal records, says the psychiatrist, said, "talking to God and entertain the mind to kill Ms. Gomez."
He also told the psychiatrist who traveled to Los Angeles to meet the stars and visit the workplace at least three times.
Gomez said in court papers that he did not know Brodnicki but says he traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet with him. He requested a restraining order, October 13 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Brodnicki has a history of harassing women. He was sentenced to three years in prison for cyber bullying crazy, and he continued for eight years, according to police.
Temporary Restraining Order against Brodnicki can be expanded in the last three years with the trial scheduled for November 4.
