Joe Jonas Album Sales: Catastrophic!

We say this anger, but the facts speak for themselves: Joe Jonas solo career is a bad start.

In the first week of sales, first solo album Joe "FastLife" sold just 18,000 copies, landing at number 15 on the Billboard 200. For comparison, the latest CD compilation with his brother Jonas, "A Little Bit More", moved 525,000 copies at the same time period. Ouch.

Nick Jonas on the other hand, also entered into a solo career last year (including its administration of the band, that is) and sold 82 000 copies of "Who Am I". Double ouch.

"Changing careers in one of the grown feasible teenhood fun is probably one of the most difficult achievement in the entertainment industry," writes Billboard Julianne Escobedo Shepherd last week. "For every Justin Timberlake, there are 10 former members of boy band after a lack of interest groups that led them to hang your hat."

Joe was able to recover from the opening this week? Or we will next see him on stage with his brother? Stay focused, THGers. Stay focused.
